The 76ers are expected to bring back Harden for the start of training camp after trade talks did not progress with any teams including his preferred destination with the Los Angeles Clippers. Expect Philadelphia to drag out this process until the 76ers have a deal they believe won't "compromise their title hopes."

If Harden is ultimately dealt, expect Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey to take over lead offensive roles in Philadelphia. Williams will land in Dallas with a new four year contract worth $53 million while the Spurs acquire Reggie Bullock with an unprotected Dallas pick swap in 2030 and the Celtics received two second rounders. Expect Williams to play a consistent role at the four with his perimeter shooting and defense.
