Woj: 76ers reportedly end trade talks on James Harden
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Philadelphia 76ers have ended trade talks on guard James Harden.
The 76ers are expected to bring back Harden for the start of training camp after trade talks did not progress with any teams including his preferred destination with the Los Angeles Clippers. Expect Philadelphia to drag out this process until the 76ers have a deal they believe won't "compromise their title hopes."
If Harden is ultimately dealt, expect Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey to take over lead offensive roles in Philadelphia. In 862 minutes last season with Harden off the floor, Embiid averaged 1.70 FanDuel points per minute and a 39.0% usage rate while Maxey produced 1.16 FanDuel points and a 30.5% usage rate in a 1013 minutes sample size.
