Panthers' Miles Sanders (groin) back in pads at training camp Monday
Carolina Panthers running back Miles Sanders (groin) returned to practice for Monday's training camp session.
Sanders suffered a groin injury in the early days of Panthers training camp, casting some doubt on his potential every-down workload for the Panthers in the upcoming season. However, it looks like the injury was truly minor, as Sanders returned to padded practices Monday, well in advance of the team's Week 1 tilt against the Atlanta Falcons.
Sanders is projected for an RB17 finish in the upcoming season. The Panthers signed him to a hefty contract when free agency opened in the spring, and all indications have pointed towards him being their every-down starter during the regular season.
